The Final PQ-REACT General Assembly Meeting in Berlin: Reflecting on what we’ve built
The final PQ-REACT General Assembly Meeting took place in Berlin on the 20 and 21st of May 2026 at the Fraunhofer premises, and it was undeniably a bittersweet moment for the whole consortium. First, it was the realisation that this was our last General Assembly Meeting, but then it was all these amazing results and how far we had come in all these three years.
The meeting focused on reviewing our final activities and results. All tasks and work packages were presented, analysed, and assessed against the KPIs set since the first day. This time, the sessions served as a reminder of how much ground has been covered, how much research has been carried out, and the knowledge created and shared.
A major agenda item was also the SPQR Cluster and PQ-REACT final event, scheduled for 11 June in Bucharest, Romania. The Bucharest event will serve as an opportunity for PQ-REACT to share project results with a wider audience, celebrate the journey, and foster conversations that will continue long after the project officially concludes.
The meeting in Berlin was also an amazing chance to continue recording and produce new podcast episodes for the Conversations with Our Experts series. These episodes will help our audience to effortlessly understand the project pilots, explore the legal and regulatory quantum issues, and learn in detail about the project outcomes and how they are being implemented.
The work of PQ-REACT is entering its final phase, but the impact is far from over. The knowledge we have generated, the networks we have built, and the conversations we have started will continue to have an impact well beyond the project’s formal end, and of course, through the PQ-NEXT project!
We look forward to seeing you in Bucharest on 11th June for a final celebration of everything our project has accomplished.
