PQ-REACT WPs explained: Discover Australo

DISCOVER THE PQ-REACT WORK

Let’s dive into the PQ-REACT work packages with our WP leaders.

Join us on this journey and learn more about the work implemented in each work package, the objectives, the expected results and the teams behind the work.

AUSTRALO leads WP7- Dissemination, Communication and Exploitation. The ambition of WP7 is to enforce the highest impact possible for PQ-REACT, raising broad awareness of the project and its outcomes, and fast-tracking the inwards/outwards value streams with the stakeholder base while capitalising on the results and IP generated. The activities included hereunder will have a cross-cutting influence over the whole work plan, running the measures that will maximise the impact.

In this blog article, Giulia Pastor from AUSTRALO will introduce us to WP7 activities!

WP7 is the Workpackage in charge of the project’s dissemination, communication and exploitation activities. It is led by AUSTRALO, with HMU in charge of exploitation and Telefonica, which deals with the standardisation activities.

All PQ-REACT partners will invest a lot of effort to ensure that the exciting work carried out by the technical partners is well-promoted, all the PQ-REACT stakeholders are aware of what is happening in the project, and the two Open calls managed by WP5 will be disseminated appropriately, as well as the work of the beneficiaries.

In addition, a significant part of WP7’s job is to MAKE THE PROJECT RESULTS OPEN to everyone interested, in line with the open science principles.

Even though the project started six months ago, our partners have already participated in three conferences, organised one webinar, submitted two papers and planned their participation in two conferences and one seminar, keeping the promise to disseminate the project and its activities.

In PQ-REACT, communication and dissemination are the keys to the project’s success.

All stakeholders must know the project’s activities, results and Open calls. This is why we started the communication and dissemination activities from the very first day of the project by creating an excellent and user-friendly website (https://pqreact.eu/ ) that serves as a first entry point for our community to gather information about our activities.

To create a recognisable brand for the project, our graphical designers refined our logo and brand book. They produced a complete set of PR materials, composed of a project flyer and roll-up, available here and here on Zenodo.ù

To keep our community of almost 700 followers always interested in X and LinkedIn accounts, our social media manager publishes original content explaining the project and its activities and introduces the partners weekly.

This social media activity will be reinforced given the two Open calls that will be launched soon.

In PQ-REACT, we value our community.

Creating and nurturing an ecosystem of key players around an initiative is always a crucial factor in the outcomes and success of its value stream. The stakeholders’ impact on a project depends on its potential power, i.e., the ability to influence the value proposition and the interest in exercising that power. Assessing the relative levels of each supports the decision on whom to spend time and effort to achieve the most significant benefits.

When addressing fundamental challenges in Research and Innovation, multiple initiatives often work in a standalone manner to address the same issue from various directions, incurring inefficiencies and needing to be more capable of delivering their full potential. By adopting an open framework of collaboration with peers and groups that can benefit and contribute to the impact of the project, PQ-REACT will be able to reach a deeper understanding of the requirements and benefits from aligning efforts with similar task forces as it requires a responsive growth factor capable of prospecting and creating brand new synergies over the project’s lifetime, facilitating a more significant advantage and extending its range of action.

Promoting PQ-REACT and encouraging stakeholders to engage with the initiative requires understanding the target audience. This is why we identified our stakeholders at the very beginning of the project, and we will work to reinforce the lesson with them and other EU-funded projects.

In WP7, we work in close collaboration with all PQ-REACT work packages.

Several collaboration and monitoring tools were implemented at the beginning of the project to ensure that all important activities carried out in our technical WPs were reported to create interesting content for our stakeholders. Interviews with partners, their scientific dissemination and plans for the upcoming months were collected to better organise the WP7’s work.
