PQ-REACT participated at the European Conference Quantum Technologies for Defence Current and future capabilities, which took place in CEZAMAT, Warsaw, Poland during the 13-14 March 2024! The event was organized by the European Commission (DG DEFIS), Polish Technological Platform on Photonics, OpTecBB, Alpha RLH and Ukrainian Cluster Alliance and gathered more than 190 participants spanning across different sectors such as Industry, Academia and Governmental representatives.
During the two days of congress the state of art of the different quantum technologies was overviewed, covering quantum sensors, quantum computing and quantum-resistant cryptography, making special highlight in their applicability to Defence capabilities. The congress included the participation of a series of high-level European keynotes that gave a vision of the main projects, technologies and use cases that are being developed in each field. Representatives of the EDA (European Defence Agency), the European Commission and the French and German NSAs (National Security Agencies) also shared their point of view on these technologies. During the pitching sessions, Marta Irene García Cid from Indrapresented the main R&D activities of the Company in quantum-resistant cryptography, with special focus on the PQREACT project. To conclude the event, different workshop sessions took place for the discussion of the status and next steps in each quantum area.
Overall, PQ-REACT’s participation at the conference served as a platform for collaboration and discussion among stakeholders in the field of quantum technologies, showcasing the latest advancements and fostering dialogue on future directions!
