PQ-REACT Open Call#1 results
On August 1st, 2024, we launched the first of a series of Open Calls, inviting quantum cryptography enthusiasts to submit their innovative work, research, and solutions. Potential participants were encouraged to align their proposal submissions with one of the four project use cases.
Applicants were given two months to develop and submit their proposals, and the PQ-REACT consortium provided ongoing support through webinars, FAQs, and contact forms.
In the first Open Call, start-ups, SMEs, universities, research centers, NGOs, and foundations could apply as sole entities with only one application each.
The OC#1 Use Cases:
- Use Case 1: Smart Grid Meters
- Use Case 2: 5G and 6G architectures
- Use Case 3: Context Agility Manager (PQC Benchmarking)
- Use Case 4: Eclipse-Qrisp for PQC
The results:
The open call closed on October 1st, 2024, followed by an intense evaluation period. Thirty-five applications were submitted across seventeen countries, with proposals aligned to all use cases.
The five beneficiaries of the PQ-REACT Open Call#1-Develop, which will receive 50.000€ each to develop and materialise their proposal, are:
